Two crashes lead to woman's arrest

A young Lodi woman reportedly was so drunk early Saturday that she caused two traffic accidents on Interstate 680 in Solano and injured herself, her two passengers and the driver of another vehicle, california dui criminal defense lawyers said.

Summer Bowler, 18, was subsequently arrested on myriad offenses, including DUI, and was booked into Solano County Jail, according to california dui criminal defense attorneys.

Shortly after midnight, Bowler was speeding north on I-680 south of Marshview Road when she failed to make a right curve, officials said, and drove off the roadway, slamming her 2000 Dodge into the median. The Dodge then bounced back into traffic and into the path of a 2006 Ford, resulting in a california dui collision.

Bowler and the Ford driver, Fairfield resident Jimmy Hilliard, 65, both suffered moderate injuries. Bowler's two passengers suffered severe injuries. All were treated at various hospitals, california dui criminal defense lawyer sources indicate.
