Pennies don't work in California DUI cases

California DUI attorney reminder

A 28-year-old Lone Tree woman was arrested on suspicion of Drunk Driving / DUI / driving under the influence of alcohol on March 18.

She was pulled over at 1:55 a.m. at the intersection of Wilcox and Second streets because she didn't have her headlights on.

The woman reportedly attempted to get out of the DUI by placing a penny on the top of her mouth.

California DUI lawyers remind folks this does not work.
