San Diego DUI Checkpoint PRESS RELEASE
San Diego Police Department Targets Impaired Drivers with Checkpoint
The San Diego Police Department will be conducting a DUI checkpoint on Friday, August 6, 2010, from 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
While the location is presently undisclosed, San Diego DUI criminal defense lawyer Rick Mueller posts the San Diego drunk driving checkpoint locations on his website.
San Diego DUI checkpoints are conducted to identify offenders and get them off the street, as well as educate the public on the dangers of impaired driving.
A DUI checkpoint is a purported method for achieving this goal. By publicizing these enforcement and education efforts, the San Diego Police Department hopes San Diego motorists can be deterred from drinking and driving in Southern California.
