California Team's Terrible Play Leads Coach to drinking & a DUI

One of the most broken down teams in the NBA, Sacramento Kings are lucky to have a quality Assistant Coach - Mario Elie. Unfortunately, he was arrested in California on suspicion of drunk driving ( DUI ) after stopped for a broken part.

The California Highway Patrol, who does no one special favors, pulled over Coach in Downtown Sacramento for having a tail light out.

California DUI officers allegedly detected a strong alcohol odor coming from the vehicle, and Coach allegedly showed signs of intoxication.

He allegedly failed a field sobriety test and was booked into the Sacramento County Jail for drunk driving and has since been released, according to lawyers.

He was a 3 time NBA champion, attorneys say.
