Ten days of this strong California DUI crackdown resulted in 417 San Diego County drivers facing drunk driving charges, attorneys announce

Ten days of this strong California DUI crackdown resulted in 417 San Diego County drivers facing drunk driving charges, attorneys are told.

These California DUI arrests came from both drunk driving patrols and DUI checkpoints from August 17 through 26, 2012, lawyers learned.

Cops also busted 8 people during a sweep to clear warrants for San Diego California DUI drivers who failed to appear/pay.

In Del Mar and Solana Beach, roving Del Mar Racetrack DUI patrols searched for San Diego drivers suspected of drunk driving following the Pacific Classic horse race at the Del Mar Fairgrounds Sunday.

San Diego's Sheriff Department is a leading DUI agency - consisting of fourteen cop agencies total - in San Diego California cashing in on the possible revenue generated by "Avoid the 14."

These special revenue generating operations, DUI checkpoints and roving drunk driving patrols, will continue through Labor Day weekend in San Diego and throughout California, attorneys believe.
