San Diego California DUI Press Conference Tuesday: 4th of July drunk driving arrest fireworks, lawyers warn

California DUI Attorneys need to warn the public of this action in San Diego.  There's a countywide push to get drunk drivers off the road for the Fourth of July weekend. The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is stepping up its "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" Campaign to stop impaired drivers and save lives on our roadways, California DUI Lawyers are told.

The crackdown, in partnership with the county's AVOID the 15 DUI task Force – named for the number
of law enforcement agencies involved, will run from Wednesday, July 3rd through Sunday, July 7th.

A news conference is scheduled to announce the special enforcement on:
Tuesday, July 2nd 10:00 a.m.
Bonita Cove Parking Lot and Grass Area
1100 West Mission Bay Drive, San Diego

Featuring Sheriff Bill Gore, SDPD Chief Bill Lansdowne, CHP Assistant Chief John Antillon,
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Executive Director Steve Lykins, and Alcohol Policy
Panel Chair Beth Sise

Motorcycle units with the AVOID the 15 partners will arrive at Bonita Cove prior to the start of the

The California Highway Patrol or CHP will also deploy all available DUI cops to bust folks for San Diego DUI, attorneys are told.
