California DUI checkpoints sprouted up all over this post-Labor Day Weekend in San Diego, DUI lawyers report.  A gambit of random, secret drunk driving roadblocks flagged travel throughout San Diego county, California DUI attorneys report.

It all started with an idiotic Escondido area California DUI checkpoint during friday rush hour, San Diego California DUI lawyers heard complaints of.   Then California DUI checkpoints shot up in Encinitas, then southern San Diego and San Marcos.  The San Marcos DUI checkpoint took up 8 hours beginning shortly after friday night rush hour through half past 2 a.m.

California DUI checkpoints are set up in San Diego county to reportedly "deter drivers from getting behind the wheel in a drunken state in order to reduce the number of alcohol-related crashes," according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department DUI checkpoint website blurb.
